Getting Sucked Into Social Media

Well here I am this morning, my morning prayer and meditation gone for a few minutes because I picked up my phone instead of my Bible.

Having typed that, I’m back now after giving thanks for another day and thanking Him for my many blessings, one of which is internet technology. Yes, I said it, ‘internet technology’, the very time-consuming creation that can kill all good intentions. I surfed cake-pop ideas, thrift shop/yard sale sourcing videos, and random Bible verse quizes. The one that brought me back to my ‘here and now’ was of a woman who was standing in her oh-so-clean-kitchen, by her coffee maker, sipping what appeared to be her first cup of coffee. The text read something like, “If I wanted to declutter, I’d do this first…” I may just hit the follow button on that one since everything about my day starts with a cup of coffee. She’s on the right path in my book!
