Extra Funds In My Budget? No, Not Me!

Yay for free water!

It rained a hard rain for about an hour overnight so my garden and lawn are happy, and so is my bank account (sorry, not sorry, water bill from the City of Duncan), according to my rain gauge, of which I just discovered has the beginnings of a crack in the plastic. So the few dollars saved from Duncan’s coffers will fund a new rain guage *sigh*

Ever wonder if your appliances, vehicles, or any other household items listen when you say you have saved some money? I swear mine do! This month, what I thought might be “free” funds from my budget will be taking care of new tires and help with the cost of the AC unit we had to replace.

Ugh, I’ve got to remember to whisper when I am within earshot of any of these!
