My ‘puppy’ is now over nine months old, almost eighty pounds, and has grown so much that I can now pet him without bending over.
Well, it’s been raining off and on for the last several days, and the Lab in him loves the water and the dog in him LOVES the mud that the rain has created in my back yard!
I’ve given up trying to keep him out of both and instead, my Swiffer is trying to keep up with the massive paw prints that adorn my floors now. You can see evidence of his morning routine when he comes in from romping outside.
He returns to his food dish, heads through the kitchen to the pantry to sniff out the trash can there, and then heads to the living room to pull a favorite toy from the crate we keep there for all of his doggie ‘accessories’.
I should photograph the path of my ‘toddler’ and send it to Swiffer – perhaps they will keep me in Wet Jet supplies for the upcoming winter months.
