My garden is definitely suffering! I’ve been debating whether to get some shade cloth or let my garden die in peace, but this morning I’ve decided to bite the bullet and head to the store for some. It may be too late to help my garden this year, but I have eternal hope that I may still have a green thumb *sigh*
We will be walking our dog very early this morning or very late this evening. Shadow does not understand “too HOT” as much as he loves the word, “Walk”, so we will be careful to not use the “W” word unless it’s around those times.
Any food prep will have to be something I can put into the slow cooker so I don’t warm up the house unnecessarily, with the exception of my first attempt today at making cake pops for the ladies at Bunco, which is scheduled this coming Monday night. Photos will follow, but only if they turn out photo-worthy, don’t you know…
That’s about it; I’ve taken other agenda items off the table until some cooler weather comes along!
Finally, I want to put this PSA out into the universe. We are so thankful that we had the means to get our air conditioner replaced! I wish there were a way to thank and link the company that came out and did such a phenomenal job at getting us hooked up, but I’m challenged at such technology, so I’ll just say, “Thank you again, Climate Control Company Inc. of Duncan Oklahoma! We are surviving this heatwave, thanks to you!”
