On-line Shopping: “Save 50%”

It’s getting to be that time of year again, you know the one, where stores remind you of how few shopping days you have left until Christmas (today there are only 171 left).

They all proclaim that you can save a huge percentage on your purchases if you buy now. I guess they are not prepared for shoppers like me; I know I’ll save 100% if I don’t open my wallet.

But in spite of that, this morning’s coffee brings nostalgic memories of holidays’ past. Weird to be thinking of such things on some of the hottest days of the year, yes? Well, I don’t plan on taking a trip down Memory Lane on you this morning, but know it’s in my head now, so I’ll probably be listening to carols on one of my devices today. I guess I’m just needing “…a little Christmas, right this very minute, candles in the window…”
