Ever notice how many times a day you look up?
You might go to the cabinet to get a cup or glass, the ingredients for a meal, lift your head to drink that last sip of soda from a can, glance up at a traffic light, or check the time on a wall clock. And what about exercising?
I cannot do that. Well, yes I can, but what happens after I do makes it a certainty that I mustn’t. Think dizziness, fainting, and a minimum of a day’s down time which includes being babysat and led by someone from place to place in my home, and taking anti-inflamatories and muscle relaxers to get back to where I was before that one, single, simple ‘looking up’ movement.
I’ve speculated about how I got from ‘normal’ to here, but I’m homebound until the docs find out why this is happening. I cannot risk a broken bone or two from falling, simply because I had a momentary lapse and looked up.
