Groundhog Day, the Cardinals are back!

It seems that this morning Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, and just as I was receiving this announcement, I happened to be opening up my house for the day, flinging open curtains and such. And guess what? Right outside my window, sitting on my fence, was the first cardinal I have seen this year! I think for me, that is the first sign of Spring, even before the ever-present robins!

So Phil can be the nay-sayer, but it was warm enough for a ride, and that felt right, well, just like a spring day.
