Does My Daily Agenda Sabotage My Writing Time? Focus, Girl!

I have several stories I have been working on, and they are in various stages of finish-ness (yes, I make up words to suit my purpose).

Having said that, I noticed a trend in my writing. On the days I have, with all good intentions, set aside time to write, my brain creates an agenda that has nothing to do with writing.

Today is supposed to be a writing day, but instead, my agenda looks like this:

Clean up desk. Craft organization. Package up ebay & dollar page listings. Make snacks for Bunco tonight. Go to bank. List new ebay items. Mail outgoing ebay. Pick up daughter and littles. Have littles work on IXL. Cook all three meals. Empty trash in house for tomorrow’s pick up. Change out the batteries in my desk timer.

So which of those can be delayed or delegated? Well, I’m out to work on the list and see which of them I can get help with.
