Returning From a Ten-Day Trip

I’ve been absent because I’ve been out of state, helping some friends in Reno, Nevada. Having said that, I don’t announce that I’m leaving, but rather, announce that I have returned.

I once read somewhere that you should never announce that you’re going to be gone, nor should you post pictures of where you’re at, at least until you’ve returned home. That made sense to me, so here I am, back at my everyday routine.

I helped with the cleanout of a house as part of an estate. This task was astronomical – the people had lived in that house for over 60 years! It was like walking into a time capsule! One of the most fun weeks I’ve had in a long time, for sure!

The one take away I’ve had with it is that I need to downsize my own ‘things’ so that when I’m gone, Hubbin or my kids will not be going through what I just experienced.

Fun none the less, will be posting more about this trip, but I’m home for Christmas. Yay!
