Thoughts for This Fine Friday

My days have suddenly become free, which has created a small dilemma.

How shall I fill my time?

For today, should I finish painting the living room, work on my novel, finish the artwork on my Christmas cards, shampoo the carpets, dive into the planning of my garden, or go shopping for the lumber for the bookcase I want to build? I feel this is turning into a Dolly Parton song (“Hard Candy Christmas,” for those of you who don’t know and are curious about the reference).

With all these options, there comes a commitment to time, resources, and help, if I need any. Or should I scrap them all and go for a ride on my Can-Am?

Hmm…can you tell which one I’m leaning towards? I’ve got Thanksgiving plans on the back burner which will kick in on Tuesday; there is much time between now and then to check off at least a few things on my list, AND get a ride or two in.

Out for now, ready to flip a coin (and get my riding gear on).
