Ever Just Want to Hang on To Your Money?

Since I’m retired, my “payday” only arrives once a month, and since all my bills also come in once a month, my money comes in and then goes out, just as fast. I’m just a pass-through agency for my funding stream.

I’ve elected to pay my bills online instead of having them auto-hit, mostly due to a bad experience with one expense that took most of my monthly income instead of doling it out over the year, like I’d signed up for.

So today is such a day. Money came in and will be going out today, and tomorrow I’ll be broke but I’ll have lights, heat/AC, water, and the necessities for another month to show for it.

But instead of paying bills right at this moment, I’m whining on my blog about having to pay them. I’ll give it another couple of minutes then I’ll get into it *holding onto my money until the bitter end, sigh*
