Experimenting With Watercolors

I have a huge bin of art supplies.

It has so many different mediums that it has sat in the corner, gathering dust while I decided which one to start with. We’re talking several years of collecting and storage here, but yesterday I finally got out the watercolor paints. I have watched video after video of various methods and techniques, but at some point I decided it was time to wade in (ha, get it??).

Since I had the supplies, I put on some random music and began. An hour later I was as done as I was going to be, so I put everything away while it dried. What do you think of my first-ever effort with watercolors? I think I should name it.

I plan to write a short story about what is happening in this piece, and when finished, I’ll tape it to the back and maybe put a frame around it. Or file it away, not sure.
