Creating a Story Time

My family and friends think I should create a story time. Ever get the fear of the unknown? I’m there today. The “What if’s” are upon me, and the old voices of Negativity Past are sounding off. I’ve been published a few times now, but I still hear a teacher from seventh grade, in my ear, telling me I wasn’t good enough, and I can remember reading a teacher’s note on one of my stories in college, that suggested I pursue anything but writing. Other such negativity comes to mind, so how is it that we can recall with vivid clarity, dates, and sometimes even the times of all of the bad stuff, but cannot remember the good?

So back to Story Time. I’m sure I’ll get negativity. Perhaps I’ll fly with my first story and see how it goes. I guess one will never know if one refuses to try.
