Our Date Nights Are Not Like They Used to Be

Hubbin has a friend that has a major role in the play, “A Christmas Story,” at the local community theater, so we got tickets for the matinee today and decided to make a date night out of it. We got all dressed up and went to the play, then (blaming the time change here), started yawning before we chose a restaurant. We opted to get our dinners “To Go”, went home, got comfortable, and had our dinners in the comfort of our home, and watched one of our favorite shows.

Gone are the days when we would have watched the sun come up and gone for coffee before going home to bed; I’m yawning as I write this and it’s only 8 p.m.!

Those were the days (but I wouldn’t have had it any other way)!
