Halloween Trick-or-Treaters

All trick-or-treaters who come to my door and ring the doorbell on Halloween will get candy, no judgement from me! This is the one night that if you merely show up, you’ll get treated, young or old, costumed or no. I give treats to the parents too.

If you’re little, this may be your first-ever Halloween, if you’re 90, this may be your last. Everyone in between – you’re not out creating mayhem and you might think this is the last time you get to be a kid – I’m happy to give you chocolate, just because you opted to not “grow up” or decided you didn’t want to get into any trouble.

Sure, I’ll ooh and aah over the princesses, the Mario characters, witches, hobos, and the creative “bottles of ketchup” or “clouds”, but I’ll be handing out candy if you are showing up as yourself. I’ve also thought about those who bring their pets on these nights. I may pick up a few pet treats (hmmmm)…

All are welcome to trick or treat at my door this and every Halloween. You’ll be remembered.
