I should have listened to my inner voice tonight but decided to continue work on the Family Room by starting to paint the ceiling, instead of waiting until the light of day. I painted around the edges where the ceiling meets the walls, as well as a fourth of the room’s ceiling. I felt pretty good about what I’d accomplished tonight, until I realized I’d painted it with the wrong paint, which by the way, created micro-splatters on my face, hair, and eyeglasses. Which also proves to me that it is physically impossible for me to paint and not get some on me SOMEWHERE.
Lesson learned; do not take on a task until you’re 100% sure you want to tackle it.
