Ever Race the Rain?

Ever try to get something done before the weather rolls in?

Well, today was such a day for me. Our lawn needed attention because the scheduled day and time got bumped due to other things in my life simply getting in the way, and yes, it had dropped down to the bottom of my “To Do” list, but today I took care of it. I got all three completed – mowing, weed whacking, and leaf-blowing the walks and driveway. There was a sense of urgency, just in case the weather-people were correct about the possibility of the Big 4’s arrival (Wind, rain, hail, and tornadoes), in the next two days, but now the yard is looking good, and we put the last of the yard implements away just as the first drops fell. It’s looking like I won that particular race against time (and rain)!

This afternoon I’m heading into my next project; painting the family room. One day all these projects will be completed and come to an end, but today is not one of those days (moving “Painting the Family Room) up to the top of my busy list).
