For The Birds – Watering The Lawn

With triple digit weather continuing and showing no signs of ending in the next ten days, I watered the front, back, and side sections of my lawn early this morning. I’m not ready for summer to kill off my grass and what remains of my meager garden, but when I headed outside to turn off the water after my timer went off, I noticed several birds playing in the sprinklers. I watched for a moment, took a short video of their antics, then reset the timer to give them a few more minutes of play time. After all, it’s not just about keeping my lawn and garden alive, it’s about taking care of nature as a whole.
