My First Public Reading

I wrote a Christmas story for Gambaby and each of his classmates about forest animals throwing a party for Santa. I had it printed and bound at the local print shop as a Christmas gift for them and used all their names as characters in it. The teacher loved it and asked if I wanted to read it to the class, so this morning I did just that. That was by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had!!! I gave each child one of the books and then read to them, and as each child’s name was mentioned, he or she would beam while their classmates were excited to hear their own names. After I was done, each child came up and hugged me and thanked me. My heart is still overflowing with the feelings from the experience!
